If there’s a disability rights issue that you’re passionate about, DPC is here to help you make a change. We have leadership teams of volunteer advocates working on housing issues and healthcare issues, and we’re always looking for new issues to work on. The time and dedication of people like you is vital to winning the fight for disability rights. To get involved, email our advocacy team at advocacy@dpcma.org

Contact your legislators

The most effective way to get a piece of legislation to pass is to tell your legislators why it’s important to you. There are multiple bills active right now that could make a huge difference in the lives of people with disabilities. You can take action on some of them at our Action Center. You can find information on all of bills we support at our Advocacy Priorities page (linked).

10 minutes of your time can make a difference. If you don't know who your legislator is, the Action Center finds them for you, or the Massachusetts Legislature has a tool to help you figure it out (linked). For more information, or advice about what to say, email our Advocacy team at advocacy@dpcma.org
